International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) is a free public charter school serving more than 23,000 K-12 students at 22 physical campuses. The mission of ILTexas is to prepare students for exceptional leadership roles in the international community by emphasizing servant leadership, mastering the English, Spanish and Chinese languages, and strengthening the mind, body, and character.
Yurgosky worked with ILTexas to create a system for their alumni that would transform the way ILTexas communicates, supports and engages with alumni.
Process

Build a network to integrate data from alumni and connect them to other alumni nearby, events nearby and support

Collect data on where alumni are, their field of study and their future plans

Have a simple and straightforward system for alumni to support and contribute to the high school they attended

Connect alumni with staff familiar with the alumni for any other support or needs alumni may have along the way

ILTexas can not only see what alumni are studying and where, but alumni can also reach out directly to ILTexas to update their information, find other alumni, contribute to the school, get involved in community and school-driven events and fundraisers, as well as connect with staff whom they are familiar with for various services.
