About Us
Yurgosky is the premier technology, strategy and analytics company serving innovation-focused organizations.
We work with many of the largest and most innovative organizations in the world to identify and build data-focused technology that engages more families, raises more money and delivers more comprehensive services to communities and students.
Our philosophy is that data is powerful and best used to empower people to make better decisions. Technology is the tool to collect, store and feed data back to the right people at the right time to make the right decisions.
Our human-centric approach is unique: we believe that the best technology fades into the background and becomes ingrained into common processes to make life easier for users and achieve the organization’s full potential.
Our vision is that every organization has access to the best technology and knowledge to make the world a better place.

Feedback & Testing
The type of feedback and the audience is important at each iteration. As the product becomes more concrete, there is less risk associated with rejection, lowering the opportunity cost of changes. Feedback from senior staff about the trajectory of the product is very important to receive early in the development process.

Yurgosky Business Model
Yurgosky was born out of a desire to provide better analytics, products and services to nonprofits. To do this, we have established a model that has dramatically outperformed the industry-standard success rates. Our model is based on three tenets: strategy, analytics and project management.
1
Deployment
Deployment to a full sandbox for testing, and ultimately to production for use, will follow a modified version control model. New feature development takes place in project specific development sandboxes, while development related to production bug fixes and feature updates are all done in the full sandbox.

Development Model
Yurgosky aligns deployment models to client needs based on their risk tolerance and desired speed of delivery. In every case, we build each iteration in dedicated development sandboxes (copies of the production database that’s used, but with minimal data), then deploy changes to a full sandbox
